WORD Force: A Literacy Adventure is an excellent tool to help improve reading. These fun, free reading games give students the foundational reading skills they need in a fun, engaging practice that you can use as an enrichment or alongside your current reading program. WORD Force is a research-based early literacy course that is free for teachers. Targeted to students in kindergarten through second grade, this is an excellent free course to use to teach:
The students are playing games, but as a teacher, you'll have lesson plans, activities, and discussion guides to accompany the lessons.
Additionally, you can recommend this to parents for them to play with their children at home. What a fun way to practice reading and learn together!
